Welcome to Carlston Dental Group! We invite you to come and experience the high level of service you
expect and deserve! Dr. Dean L. Carlston and his staff have created a full service facillity where
our patients can receive treatment for all of their dental needs.
Dr. Carlston is a graduate of Baylor Dental School in Texas, and is a memeber of the American Dental
Association, and the Los Angeles Dental Society. For the past thirty years, Dr. Carlston has been
associated with: American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, Clinical
Straight Wire Technique Foundation (an orthodontic study group), American Endodontic Society,
and Academy of Computerized Dentistry.

For the past 10 years, Dr Carlston has been utilizing his Cerac III Cad-Cam porcelain milling machine to
create customized restorations for diseased teeth. This technology fits arm-in-arm with his philosophy of
Minimally Invasive-Biomimetic Dentistry. Dr Carlston believes this customized approach to restoring infected
teeth is the future of dentistry.
Dr. Carlston has created his dream practice where all treatment modalities are offered at this one location.
Dr. Carlston treats the children from 12 months through their teen years. He provides the Orthodontic
(Braces) needs for children and adults alike. He provides the Cosmetic, Endodontic (root canals),
Extractions (simple and surgical), and General Dental needs of all patients. He has invited
Alexandre Aalam DDS into our family in order to provide the Periodontal (gum infections and recessions)
and the Implant needs. Today we refer out only those very specific surgical procedures that really
should be done in the specialist's office and are not needed often enough to justify bringing those
specialists into our office.
We have installed wireless computer access in our beautiful garden courtyard and throughout the office
so that our patients can sip tea or coffee and utililze the internet while visiting our “Overland Oasis”.
Our patients do not need an appointment to stop by and relax in our garden. We have digital x-rays
which instantly display on chair mounted flat screen monitors so that our patients can participate
in the diagnosis. We also have wireless intra-oral cameras so that we can show our patients the
conditions we feel they need to address. We also have special viewing glasses that our patients can
wear while in treatment. These glasses display instruction videos, movies, and music on the
equilavlent of a 50” TV screen!
